Tropic Thunder

"Never go full retard"

Tropic Thunder is histerical. It has a great cast too with a lot of well known people such as Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr, and so many more.

In Tropic Thunder,a group of actors are tricked into thinking their being filmed for a movie their paid to do. Instead, they are actually thrown into the jungle and are captured by real local drug dealers in Southeast Asia. Weird things happen but boy, does the movie have some great lines.

I am getting sick of this movie because I have seen it way too many times but it's still good. A large part of the reason the movie is so good is because of the large star cast in the movie like I said before. I actually saw this movie in the theaters but liked it better when it came out on DVD.

Bloopers/Mistakes!

So every movie has it's filming mistakes and bloopers...here are a few of them:

-Tommy Boy

-The Jerk

-American Pie

-Dodgeball

-Scary Movie 3

Although American Pie, Dodgeball and Scary Movie 3 havn't made the list yet, they have some obvious movie bloopers that I just had to include.

Switching it Up

So...let's switch it up...

I am going to list a bunch of quotes from some of favorite comedy movies which have made the list so far....here we go:

-"Oh man, talk radio? It's so boring the car committed suicide"-Pineapple Express

-"Want me to puncha-size your face, for free?"- Super Troopers

-"What does that mean, high score?Did I break it?- Grandma's Boy

-"Not so much here, or here, but RIGHT HERE"- Tommy Boy

-"Baxter, you know I don't speak Spanish"-Anchorman

-"Now I ask ya, do you think the son of a bitch is gonna care what kinda pants yous is wearing"- My Cousin Vinny

-"According to the map, we've only gone about 4 inches"-Dumb and Dumber

Rush Hour

"Ain't nobody understand the words that are comin' out of your mouth"

Rush Hour-what a funny little movie.

This movie is about two completely oposite cops , Detective Lee and Detective James, who team up together to catch criminals and an eleven year old girl. The movie is an action/adventure as well as comedy. The reason this movie managed to work out with is plot is because of the main characters who worked so well together. I love the bloopers that they run at the end of the movie too.

Obviously the movie is going to be funny if you put Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker together. There are a good amount of racial jokes in this movie though, so it would probably offend a good amount of people. I still thought it was great though and clearly I am not the only one considering there are 2 Rush Hours that came out after the first one.

Robin Hood: Men in Tights

"Let's get out of this ladies clothing and get into our tights! "

Robin Hood: Men in Tights
is a pretty legit comedy movie. Although it uses crude and stupid humor, those are always the best. This movie has actually been around for a while. I remember seeing it for the first time when I was 10.

It is about Robin Hood who "steals from the rich and gives to the needy". It follows the old tale but obviously includes it's own twist on the new version of it. They actually mix olden times with the recent times in the movie which makes it that much better. Robin Hood dresses up as an old man and wins in an archery contest and later on in the movie saves Maid Marian, the woman he loves. It might pose as a problem though when he realizes his "true love" has a chastity belt that can only be opened by true love.

The movie is pretty good because of the cast it includes. Even Dave Chappelle plays one of Robin Hood's Merry Men in the movie. I feel like a lot of people actually havn't seen this movie.

Mrs. Doubtfire

"Are you wearing ladies perfume?"

Mrs. Doubtfire is such a classic. Although it really is not a knee slapper, it still deserves a spot on the list.

Mrs. Doubtfire is about a man whose wife is filing for divorce and trying to get custody of the kids. Mrs. Doubtfire is played by Robin Williams who is the father and husband in the movie. In order to see his kids, he pretends to be an old woman and gets hired as a nanny for his wife. Little does she know that it's her husband. I don't even need to tell you anymore because clearly Robin Williams dressed up as a woman is pretty funny.

Robin Williams definitely made the movie. I couldn't see any other actor playing an old woman and being able to pull it off so well.

Grandma's Boy

"Fruit cup, nice. Way to go mom."

Grandma's Boy is still flying under the radar. When I saw it the first time I actually didn't enjoy it too much but it has grown on me.

Grandma's Boy is about a 35 year old video game tester, Alex, and how if life is full of nothingness. He gets thrown out of his apartment for rent delinquency and ends up moving in with his grandma. Really weird things happen involving grown young men and grandmas. The one actor I think is histerical is in this movie, Nick Swardson, who plays Jeff- Alex's friend and co worker. I think the reason this movie if funny is mostly because of Nick Swardsons role.

Actually, now that I think about it, I realize that even though I have seen this movie alot, I have never watched it from start to beginning. I know for a fact that I havn't seen the actual end of the movie. That actually pisses me off that I just realized that. Even though I havnm't seen the end of the movie, it is still worth a spot on the great comedy movies.

Billy Madison

"Quit it lady, you're scarin us!"

What a classic. I'm sure that if you've ever seen any kind of movie before, that this was one of them before and if that's not true, you suck.

Billy Madison is about an idiot child adult, Billy Madison, played by Adam Sandler. When it comes to the time for Billy to inherit his father's hotel industry, they decide he has to go through all 12 grades again in order to be the new owner. The movie follows Billy going through a grade each 2 weeks. He ends up falling for one of his teachers through out the process and even weirder things happen.

Adam Sandler
looks good in this movie because he was still kind of young when it was made. Even though this movie is completely over played on TV, it still is really good since the first time or fifty eighth time I've seen it.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

"Go fuck yourself, San Diego"

Anchorman is a pretty funny movie. Although it's really dumb like most of Will Ferrell's movies, I think its a great comedy movie.

Anchorman
is supposed to take place in the 1970's. It is about a news anchor named Ron Burgundy and the rest of his co-workers/friends. It follows their lifestyle and how much fun they have with their jobs. They constantly party and love being famous as the talk of the town. When the station adds a new co-anchor it upsets everyone, especially when they find out it's a woman! This was unlikely in the 70's. The movie is about the rise and fall of Ron Burgandy which is a really silly story but they did a good job with it.

This is another one of the number of movies that I quote once in a while and usually everyone understands what it's from!I've actually seen t-shirts of Ron Burgandy recently.
